Please go to Dates for upcoming events

This is just a reminder about some imminent activities in Montreal this month. I will name them here and have attached further details below. The first is the remount of our last big solo work "She's gone away" which is being presented at Theatre La Chapelle from October 7-11. I will then be staying on to teach a nine-day workshop at Studio 303 from Oct. 14 to 24th called "Voice the Singing Body". And during this whole period I have a couple of other smaller performances:

Oct. 16th, 8:30pm to 10:30pm @ at l'Envers - Nilan Perera and I will be performing our improvised "dialogues" (movement, voice, and prepared electric guitar) with guests Gordon Allen (trumpet) and Pierre-Yves Martel (viola da gamba). 185 Van Horne, Montreal, http://www.myspace.com/lenvers185

Oct. 21st, 9pm @ Le Cagibi - Gordon Allen (trumpet), Susanna Hood (voice), and Scott Thomson (trombone) will be performing the music of Steve Lacy. 5490 boulevard Saint-Laurent (@ St. Viateur), Montreal, http://www.myspace.com/mardispaghetti, http://www.lecagibi.ca/

Oct. 23rd, 9pm @ l'Envers - Gordon Allen (trumpet), Nicolas Caloia (bass), Thom Gossage (drums), Susanna Hood (voice), and Scott Thomson (trombone) will be performing the music of Steve Lacy. 185 Van Horne, Montreal, http://www.myspace.com/lenvers185

I hope that if you're in the neighbourhood you can come out and join us for some of these events. And please feel free to pass the info on to anyone in the Montreal area that you think might be interested. Happy October, and if you live in Canada remember to vote on Oct. 14th. Here are a couple of great resources around making an impact with your vote: http://departmentofculture.ca/, http://www.voteforenvironment.ca/, http://www.canadianartscoalition.ca/en/, http://www.torontoartscoalition.org/
